Come baby, take my hand

Travel with me to dreamland

We’ll take a journey through pastures and meadows

We’ll spend the afternoon chasing shadows

We’ll go where the streams flow, where the wind blows

We’ll just enjoy ourselves, forget our sorrows

We’ll have a great today and embrace tomorrow

Baby promise me, wherever I go you’ll follow

And darling I’m going to dreamland

So, my one and only, take my hand.

(now here’s the negative spoofed version, also by me)

Come, you bitch, wear this chain

Around your head, to strangle your brain.

As you lapse into a coma I’ll cackle

Then I’ll issue you a flying tackle

I’ll hear your bones break, hear them crackle

Two parts have lost function; your bones and brain

So bitch, feel the effects of wearing this chain.

The title topic says it all. On Saturday, the evaluations of all previous Founder’s Day rehearsals will be taken into consideration and corrected. Hopefully. We’ve had maybe four rehearsal days, ten rehearsal runs, lots of spent hours and one naggy teacher-in-charge of parade.

The week after is the last week of Term One. The very last day of school is short, as Fridays are in this school, and following that is camp period. And then all the band’s rehearsals will be forgotten on concert day, 24th March.

In between is inter-class soccer tournament. Boy, March will be pretty eventful.

My class has a new Biology teacher. I don’t take Biology, but I stayed in the classroom to cram for the SS test in one hour’s time (the test went crappily, by the way). The new teacher talks reallyreallyreallyfast. Stigmasepalpetalovuleantherfilamentdoeseveryoneunderstand?Yes?Okgoodlet’scontinue.

And today’s band rehearsal was one of the most pissing I’ve ever attended. We were walked out on by Dr Lee, who threw a hissy fit, and then when he came back one of the first things he did was scold me for absolutely no reason. Unless you count daydreaming about smashing a soccer ball into someone’s head as ‘playing soccer during sectionals’.

Anyway, some of us played basketball after band today. Though of course, that did not do much for the mood.

Fuck everything. (this is one of the first few times I’ve put profanities in any language on the blog)

Founder’s Day rehearsals are up next, and then the actual thing on Saturday. Prior to that is a one-night sleepover in school, which I probably will take part in. I don’t want to have to bus from home to school at 5.30 am.

Fuck every damn  thing.
